The atmosphere was somehow quite great.
Everyone was already practising throws when i reached.
So i had no choice but to eat my Filet O Fish meal quickly and changed into my kit.
Oh ya, forgot one important thing.
That is the attendance. hahahs.
Almost everyone came including the seniors.
Really have to thank everyone for coming down.

Started off with the 2 rounds run around the field and we started off with drills.
Have to thank ZC, Huat Jin and James for that.
Learnt quite a lot from them and we sure can apply these things in future trainings.

But we still got a lot more to learn.
Things like running towards the disc all these.
Really alot more so let’s all work hard together.
We’ve got a new name now so let’s have a new attitude towards training.
Let’s get better.
Huat Jin said, “U have to treat the disc like something really valuable to you.”

 CK’s Friendly vs Canberra Secondary was a success . Both teams learnt valuble lessons , tips from the seniors to the CSSians and visits with up to 60+ People who turned up today . DESPITE the rain . Thankfully for the MRT track lol.

Things started out looking glum . slow moving . The usual  guys , the few of us were there 30mins early to set up the field. Clock struck 4 . Rain didn’t stop . The people didn’t come.

 Then , the CSS team arrived , well most of them . Like the rain that poured , the people poured , people came to support their team and join in the match .

We had the priviledge of MI’s team to support and watch us play , with valuble tips and reminders shared by James .

The rain didn’t dampern the spirits of the players who were initially competitive , turned to have a whole lot of fun  and enjoyed themselves .

Thanks all who came down despite the rain , making it our first and successful outreach/breakthrough into one of our targets – Canberra Secondary .

On behalf of CK , we wish Canberra Secondary all the best for next week’s N7 Cluster =)

There will be a friendly match on monday 10th march between CarraKnights™ & Canberra Secondary .

Ha , Old birds [yeah those older than me , i'm considered a young old bird ] are welcomed to join in the fun and play on the side of CK .

For all other canberreans , please come down in sports attire if you wish to join in the game . It will be a fun filled , action packed monday afternoon , what better way to start the march holidays with Frisbee??

It starts at four , no not 4a.m it’s at 4 P.M! So come down early , help set up the field , throw some discs , do some warm ups , run a few rounds round the large open space and get ready to rumble . vrrroommm….

The Ultimallamas sure know how to have fun and boy are they freaking fast.

Take note we might have an upcoming friendly against our former school . Lmao apprently they formed an internal team to join the N7 cluster games so we might want to pit ourselves against them to test the soil for them . most probably it will be on Monday , 4pm , home ground.

We hope to be able to in time to come go for another friendly against DRATSS again like last time so we will kepp you all posted.

At around 5:15pm, the rain stopped. One by one the frisbee players came. The familiar faces came first. Then came the seniors and some new faces. We were all happy to know that it was going to be the day when we can really play a proper field game.

 We started of with some disc passing as warm up before proceeding on to the match play. The field was wet and muddy but it did not stop us from having all the fun we could. Some of us got real dirty falling down. People like Melissa, Frances and Fornia did not want to get dirty initially but ended up sweaty and muddy but still they were happy. For some, it was the same old feeling playing on the field yet again but for some, it was a whole new experience. However, I’m glad that at the end of the day, everyone got involved and had fun.

People who passed by the field in the bus and walking all looked curiously. There was even one uncle who stood at the pavement watching for almost 10minutes while we were playing the match. We are certainly attracting some interest. All we need is for people to get more of their friends or even families to come down and join us. So do not be shy. Come down and Have fun with us.

For those members of the club who have not been even throwing any disc with us before, it’s time you all take sometime of your homeworks for a few hours on a Saturday and come play frisbee with us. We are starting to have a lot of members right now and if at least 50% of the total number of members come down for training, we can have a great time playing some real frisbee together and improve on our personal skills.

The date is set again next Saturday (26th January). Venue can be found at the training information section of the club blog. Time would be change to 4:30pm. Wear boots if you have. If not, shoes will do. Get your friends who are interested to come down and join in the fun. Hope to see more players next week.

Let’s all look forward to yet another fun day of Frisbee and that DISC-licous feeling.!
